Terms of Use of ParaCom Training

This document governs the use of our website and any other related agreement or legal relationship with us in a legally binding way.

By using our website, you confirm the following:

  • You are utilizing the website without malicious intent

Account Registration

To use the service, you can register or create an account by providing complete and truthful information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

Conditions for Account Registration

  • It is not permitted to register accounts by bots or any other automated methods
  • You must register only one account (can be reused between courses)
  • Your account must not be shared with other persons unless otherwise specified

Account Termination

You can close your account and stop using our service anytime by contacting us or via the contact form.

Account Suspension and Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account at any time if we find it inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these terms. The suspension or deletion of accounts does not exempt you from paying any applicable fees.

Content on the Website

Unless otherwise noted, all content on our website is owned by us or our licensors. We hold and reserve all intellectual property rights for all content.

You may not copy, download, share, modify, translate, transform, publish, transmit, sell, sublicense, edit, or create derivative works from the content without express permission.

Acceptable Use

Our website and service may only be used within the scope of what is provided for, under these terms and applicable law.

We reserve the right to protect our interests by denying access if you are involved in:

  • Violating laws, regulations, or these terms

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Paid Products

Some products require payment. Details about fees, duration, and conditions are described in the relevant sections.

Order Submission

When you place an order:

  • Submitting an order obligates you to pay the specified price, taxes, and fees
  • You agree to cooperate by providing necessary personal information or requests
  • You will receive a receipt confirming order receipt

Prices

All prices are displayed in Great British Pounds (£) and include all applicable fees, taxes, and costs.

Methods of Payment

Payment methods are provided during the purchasing process. For group bookings, we accept BACS payment in response to a ParaCom Training generated invoice.

Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided. Goods are not delivered outside of the United Kingdom. Delivery is subject to carrier availability.

ParaCom Training is not liable for delivery delays or damage caused by external parties such as Royal Mail.

UK User Rights - Right to Cancel

If you qualify as a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a contract within a specified period.

Cancellation Period

  • For goods: 14 days after taking physical possession
  • For E-Learning courses: begins when access is granted
  • For physical courses:
    • More than 28 days to delivery: full refund
    • 14-28 days to delivery: 50% refund
    • Less than 14 days: 25% refund
    • Refunds subject to deduction of incurred expenses

Effects of Cancellation

We will reimburse you for all payments made, processed promptly and no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notification using the same payment method.

Guarantees

UK consumers have the right to receive goods that conform to the contract.

Liability and Indemnification

We limit our liability as much as legally allowed. This exclusion does not apply to damages affecting life, health, or physical integrity, or damages from intentional or gross negligence.

You agree to indemnify us from any claims made by third parties due to your culpable violation of these terms.

Common Provisions

Service Interruption

We reserve the right to interrupt the service for maintenance, updates, or other changes with appropriate notification.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service signifies acceptance of revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom. UK consumers may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland as applicable.
